Dear Fellow Bethany Democrats:
The beauty of living in a small town is that your vote and participation really make a difference.
The members of Bethany’s Boards and Commissions are volunteers – your friends and neighbors who together decide how Bethany is run. Of course, you have the final say by participating in the Annual Town Meeting, Special Town Meetings and public hearings. There are openings for a number of positions on these Boards and Commissions. There could be a place for you that would offer you the opportunity to be an active participant in your Town’s governance. Our next town election will be on May 2, 2011.
We need your ideas as well. It takes many individuals to have a vibrant, successful Democratic Party.
Here is what you can do:
- Explore the possibility of running for office!
- Volunteer to help your party!
