Meteor Shower Meetup

Derry invites everyone to Veteran’s Memorial Park on Tuesday night, August 12th, after dark, to view the meteor shower.    A full moon is expected so viewing won’t be as vivid, but if you’re game, bring a flashlight (no lights by the lake), blanket, bug spray, refreshments and join your fellow stargazers for some fun.  The first car to arrive will need to open the gate at the top of the driveway, which will be unlocked; park down the hill by the pavilion.
